New Year and New Knitting Adventures

Happy New Year!

I hope you are all well and that the start of 2022 fills you more with hope than trepidation.

Hopefully you have lots and lots of fun knitting projects planned to look forward to!

I have been quiet for a while, but I wanted to let you all know about the new knitting adventures that I have been delving into. I hope to post more about them as the year goes on.

My New Knitting Adventure

I have started designing! For my first few patterns, I have designed socks that are made to take advantage of leftovers or miniskeins.

From now until 11:59PM PST on January 3, 2022, use code SCRAPPYNEWYEAR for 15% off my patterns in my Ravelry https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/designs-by-ellyndria-ravelry-store and Etsy https://www.etsy.com/shop/DesignsByEllyndria stores.

Knitting Adventure #1 – Got Minis?

The first sock I designed, Got Minis? is make to use 5 different miniskeins or leftovers, with 1 of them contrasting well with the other 4.

Knitting Adventure #2 – Text(ure) Me

The Text(ure) Me socks really fly off your needles. In fact, I love knitting them so much that I’ve already made 3 pairs! The color possibilities are endless.

Knitting Adventure #3 – Ends With Benefits

For these socks, I wanted to make some scrappy socks that featured the ability to avoid weaving in all of the ends of the contrasting colors. Then I got a little playful, and decided to show what adding beads to the fringe would look like!

Future Knitting Adventures

I have a few more patterns in the works, including some cowls, more socks, and I’m also mulling over a couple of hat and mitt designs.

I hope you find many moments in this new year to indulge in your yarn crafting!
